Nichy has been out of town he left the day Gabriela got chicken pox!! Wednesday was a really bad night. She just seemed so uncomfortable tossing and turning all night. But today she seems like her old self and her spots are healing! She mainly got them on her face, stomach, and back. Not many on her arms and legs. I have just felt so sorry for her and have been spoiling her! Lately there has been no crying in the crib before naps or going to sleep! I rock her, hold her, and feed her whenever she wants!! After she has healed from the chicken pox we will have to do some retraining with the naps and bed time! This has been her first time being sick and I am glad it is almost over. It has really made me thankful for her health. With Nichy being gone I have been in the house all week. We are still planning on going to the U.S. next week, just not sure what day we will fly on. Not looking forward to a 9 hour drive, and 10 hour flight!

Here is a picture of Gabriela on the 4 day of chicken pox. A friend thinks this should be my Christmas card! We were suppose to take a family pic for Christmas cards before we left for the states. However, I didn't think Gabriela was very photogenic this week!
The weekend started out great. Friday night El Nacional was losing. With less than one second on the clock Nichy made a fade away jumper off the glass to tie the game! We went to overtime and won! Thursday and Friday were in the high 80’s low 90’s but Saturday was cold! Isn’t that how it always works out when you are planning a weekend outside. We did not go to the beach on Saturday. Oh let me back up a little. I was not able to take Gabriela’s stroller on the bus because there was not enough room. I had to carry her everywhere this weekend! Strollers are very expensive in Argentina, and you see mothers carrying their babies a lot! I have a new found respect for these women. After not having my stroller this weekend, I realize what a necessity one is.
