Gabriela is 6

Gabriela is 6! We celebrated her birthday before we left with a few if her friends. Yesterday I surprised her in the morning singing Happy Birthday and decorated her room. Nichy was out if town but came home that night with a cake! Today they are both at Universal Studios. I decided to stay home so it could be a day just about her. 

I have really noticed big changes with Gabriela. She is getting so big! Her favorite things are singing, playing soccer, wrestling, playing my little ponies, climbing trees, putting on makeup, and climbing in the dirt for worms! She is still so girly but not afraid to get dirty:)

Addison and Xander are one!!

We celebrated the babies birthday. I was so thankful we were all together. Gabriela was so excited and stayed up late decorating the house. Each day she would make a list of items we needed from the store. She also planned a scavenger hunt for their present.

We took them to a fun indoor play center. Addison had been taking a few steps prior to her birthday. On her birthday she started walking everywhere! Xander is still crawling and occasionally takes a step.. I can't believe they are one. This year went by so fast. It is so much easier with Nichy.

Japan

My Mom flew with me and the kids to Japan. The flight was long but everyone did great. It was the babies first time to fly. We had no major meltdowns. Gabriela watched movies and was very low maintenance. She is getting to be such a big girl!

I loved having my Mom here. We went to Kyoto and Hiroshima. Grammy gave Gabriela a history lesson on the atomic bomb. Her response was "I did not bomb them." "I am from Panama like my Daddy!" Not sure she understood how long ago it happened. My Mom loved Japan, and we did great getting around on the trains.
