Gingerbread

Gabriela had her last day at preschool. She loved Gingerbread and came home filthy everyday! I had a conference with Teacher Skye. She is very big on holding kids back. I was secretly hoping she would suggest that to me! I am not ready for Gabriela to be in school everyday all day!! The conference went great. They had a portfolio with all of her work and pictures of her. It was really neat to see her in action. She said Gabriela was a leader and a very happy child! I still can't believe my baby girl is going to Kindergarden!

Nichy made it home late Saturday night. He thinks the babies are adorable and can't believe how big Gabriela has gotten. He has helped out a lot. It actually feels easy having two babies with him around!

 Gabriela has wanted nothing to do with me. She is attached to Nichy at the hip!! So far he has been on a Daddy fishing trip, joined the Daddy Dance for the dance recital. and taken her to all of her events!! Life is good!!

Nichy is coming home today!!  We can't wait! This will be his first time seeing the babies. He lost in the first round of playoffs to Kyoto. I was not disappointed at all! He is not closing the door on basketball. However, we both know the end is near.

Gabriela decided she wanted to put a bow on Xander's hair! Brought back memories when we use to dress Zac up!

Last night we had a major fit because Gabriela did not like the night gown I picked out. She said "it is not dressy enough, and I couldn't wear it to a ball!!" Lately, she only wants to wear dresses. She has started voicing her opinion what she wants to wear! Apparently, she now only wants to wear pretty dresses to sleep in too!! Not sure where she is getting this from!

 

Xander and Addison already seem to have different personalities. Addison reminds me a lot of Gabriela. She is very laid back and rarely cries. Xander is my high maintenance child! He loves to be held. If he is awake he wants to be in my arms. Addison enjoys the swing and bouncer. Xander will be screaming his head off and I think something is wrong. The second I pick him up he is fine!! I think I have a Mamas Boy!!

Big Sister

Gabriela loves being a big sister! At first she was a little over bearing and always wanted to hold them. However, now that we have settled in a routine she is a big help! She does little errands for me all day! A few nights ago before bed she asked me to get her a Kleenex. We were both laying down. I was tired and told her "you can get up and go get one." She replied "that is not fair because all day I go and get stuff for you!!" I felt so bad. I jumped up and got her Kleenex. Nothing like getting put in your place by a five year old!
